Another one of those quiz things...

Stolen from puckdecoyote and cyclonrosenberg:

You scored as Cultural Creative. Cultural Creatives are probably the newest group to enter this realm. You are a modern thinker who tends to shy away from organized religion but still feels as if there is something greater than ourselves. You are very spiritual, even if you are not religious. Life has a meaning outside of the rational.

Science? In Weblogs?

I got the idea from cangelo's LJ:

Take the MIT Weblog Survey

My day...

Had a nice day today... (Ooops... I guess I mean yesterday now...) Daniel and I went out for a picnic (how wholesome!) at Contra Loma regional park, near our home. It was nice... sat on a hill underneath a tree in the shade and had sandwiches and just talked about... nothing... It was nice.

Then we ran some errands... later we finished off the Alias Season 3 that we had been addicted to. All in all a nice day...

Maybe another time(lord)

Tonight my fellow geeks saw the birth of the 10th Doctor in the season finale of the newly revamped BBC hit Doctor Who.

David Tennant is the new Doctor Who...

Although I wasn't really ready to let go of Christopher Eccleston's 9th Doctor, I'm excited to see the series that I loved as a child move on into the future, only this time with good acting, writing, and special effects. Yay team!

Now I just have to wait until Christmas for its return special before the new season starts again in March.

Original painting is 16"x20", acryllic on canvas.

Prints are offered on 8.5"x11" heavy photo-paper

I decided to add a couple of other paintings to my gallery as well. ("The Serpents of Bliss #1", and "Eyes of the Crow") Check 'em out if you are so inclined.

From MoveOn.Org: 500,000 signatures needed today to expose Iraq lies

I'm writing to ask you to join me in signing a MoveOn PAC petition demanding real answers from President Bush regarding the "smoking gun" Downing Street Memo.

http://www.moveonpac.org/tellthetruth/

To help get the truth about why we invaded Iraq, please sign this letter today.

The Downing Street memo is called a "smoking gun" because it contains the minutes from a British cabinet meeting in July of 2002, 6 months before the war began. During that meeting high ranking British officials reported that the Bush administration admitted it was already determined to invade Iraq, and was "fixing" intelligence about WMD's to justify the war.

This, of course, contradicts everything President Bush has told us about how he chose war as a last resort, and made that decision because he thought he had solid intelligence about the Iraqi WMD threat.

Bush has refused to even respond to the memo, but after Tony Blair's visit this week the pressure is really building. Representative John Conyers of Michigan is gathering 500,000 signatures and comments from American voters to take directly to President Bush at the White House gates and demand real answers. Please sign today and help get out the truth.

Thanks!

QUIZ: Which Doctor are you???

A bit of silliness...

8thdoctor

You are the eighth Doctor! Friendly and warm, you
are the most human of all the Doctors. Your
sense of style is a bit old-fashioned. You have
a bit of trouble figuring out exactly who you
are at first, but no worries. Eventually you'll
find your way.
