Living the Dream...

Well, it's been quite awhile since I have posted. We've been working hard over at the shop to "re-paganize" the place, as well as simply bring it back up to what we consider to be a higher standard. We immediately increased the witchcraft section to over three times its previous size and have been busily stocking athames, statues, and ritual tools. We've also been working hard to give the place a make-over, which it was sadly in need of. (The major stuff, like carpet and paint) will come later, but for now we have contented ourselves with re-arranging some of the current fixtures, and doing general decor and cleaning.)

It's been quite an experience. We've worked many, many hours, and are pretty happy with what we have done so far. But there is still so much more coming! Our plans include carrying more herbs, oils, and incense, as well as increasing the book and music selections. The store is certainly more full than it has been in years, so those of you in the bay area are invited to stop by and take a look at what we've done so far. Those of you who are interested in crystals and gemstones will be happy to find a wide range of selection which will only grow after we visit the Tucson International Gemshow this coming February.

And our class selection will change. I will be offering some classes in the future and am in negotiations with some other teachers (both Feri and non) to do events there as well. Offerings include Chi Gong, Sacred Dance, Working with Crystals, Meditation, Yoga, Tarot, Astrology, Witchcraft, and much, much more.

So please visit us. Drop by and say hello!

The Tucson Gem Show is amazing! When I lived in Tucson, it was a stone's throw from my house. Ha ha. Very cool.
I wanna know what you're gonna re-name the store.
All the best!

What hard working men you are! The store sounds like a dangerous place to visit! ;) I'm sure no one can walk away without buying something...
Good to see you,
Swan

I stopped by the shop last night. Very nice! I liked the feel of it, as well as the look. Your employees were very nice too. Your shop is just blocks from where I work, so I will be shopping there more often. Picked up stuff. Fun, I hope to see you there at some point!

Your shop sounds so exciting. I hope to visit it next time I'm in the area.
I'm sure you have lots of contacts for oils and stuff but I thought I'd take a moment to pimp out my friend and Faery witch Cedar. She used to run a shop and is now selling her oils and stuff over the internet. Her products are awesome. I bet she'd wholesale.
Happy entrepreneurship!

Amazing how I've been to that store over and over and never knew that someone ran it who practiced witchcraft... I just assumed it was a "New Age" store. There was very little about witchcraft there, and I ended up buying "The Spiral Dance" not from your store but from Bonanza Books that day. I *did* buy a mala at the store, though.
I lived in Antioch for years; my mom still lives there. Hopefully I'll have a chance to drop by the store again next time I'm in the area.

Well, it was pretty much a New Age store, as a witch didn't own it until Chas and I bought it on Nov. 1st, 2007. We're still working hard to make it more Pagan-friendly (and generally spiritually-friendly, too... as the shop had become more of a woman's boutique than a spiritual supply shop.)
We've been busily stocking spell candles, new and exciting herbs and oils, and increasing the book and music selections so that there should be a little something for everyone. We're far from done, but it's coming along.
Please do drop by sometime and say hello.

It did! And your ad looks great, I think. :)

oh that's great! I sent you a message on MySpace as well. I hope that you got it!

I hate MySpace. Between their server and my Piscean brain I can rarely use it for anything important. I think I remember getting it... but we were so crazy getting the store and I forgot to respond. I'll check it out later today.
