Very cool.This story is quoted in one of my favorite books: "How the Mind Works" By Stephen Pinker. It's way super.
I have a audio dramatization of the story done by ZBS. I need to figure out where, and I agree it is a good story.
I am just wondering if they got the ones to probe from the DC area?
Sounds very H2G2. I am sure Adams got a kick out of it at the time.
